Krein-Hagel Family Scholarship

The Philomath Community Foundation will award a $1000 scholarship to a Philomath High School Senior upon graduating and successfully completing the first term of college/university course work. Priority for the award will be to students who desire to further their education after high school and need financial assistance that might not be available from other sources. Priority will also be placed on the graduate’s level of community service, work history and financial need.

Eligibility Requirements:

​

  1. Student must be from the Philomath School District with a cumulative 3.2 GPA or higher.

  2. Attend Philomath High School for 3 academic years unless waived by the principal.

  3. Complete classes in English, 3 years of science, 2 years of foreign language, and math preferred through pre-calculus.

  4. Pass required state testing.

 

Dispersal Requirements:

  1. Dispersal will come after the first term/semester of attending a college/university as a full time student and proof of a minimum 3.0 GPA. Evidence of grades to be submitted to PCF, P.O. Box 1000, Philomath, Or. 97370.

  2. A second year dispersal of $1000 will be made after the first term/semester of attending a college/university as a full time student with a sophomore standing and an accumulative minimum 3.0 GPA. Evidence of grades to be submitted to PCF.

Avoid using an outdated form. Wait until Jan. 1 of the year in which you  plan to submit this application to print or download  it.
