Applicant needs to be trustworthy, respected by his/her peers, and reliable. Priority given to students who have overcome some form of hardship.
Cody James Patterson Memorial Scholarship
Candidate will emulate the attributes of leadership, dependability, sportsmanship, citizenship, and participation in High School athletic programs.
Dwight B. Grass Scholarship: Inactive beginning in 2019
We thank the family of Dwight B. Grass, who made it possible to award this scholarship for 10 years.
Krein-Hagel Family Scholarship: Inactive beginning in 2019.
This was awarded for 6 years by the Kreins who are grandparents of the Hagel children. We thank them for their generosity.
The scholarship will be given to a student who will enroll in a college or university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering (including robotics), Math, or Computer Science. Priority will be given to women, minorities and those with financial need.
McRae-Dickey STEM+ Scholarship
The scholarship will be given to a student who is active in music and/or performing arts and will enroll in a college or university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or Computer Science. Priority will be given to women, minorities and those with financial need.
A scholarship to a Philomath High School Senior upon graduating from high school with the intention of pursuing a higher education degree.
Russ Hunt Memorial Scholarship
Interested in law enforcement as a career? Or do you want to teach?
Terry Selby Memorial Scholarship
A gift from the Selby family, this scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Forestry student to help in pursuit of further education.
Vocational-Technical Scholarship
A scholarship to a Philomath High School Senior upon graduating and pursuing their post high school education at a community college or vocational school.
An award to a graduating Philomath High School senior with priority based on community service.
SCHOLARSHIP PHILOSOPHY
Philomath Community Foundation aims to provide scholarships so students can continue their educational journeys. With the costs of education steadily rising, talented, deserving students face financial needs unseen by previous generations, and many need financial assistance to be able to pursue higher education.

January 1

PDF Applications: Avoid using an outdated form. Wait until Jan. 1 of the year in which you plan to submit an application to print or download it.
April 15

Applications Deadline, All scholarship applications and award applications must be submitted to the Philomath High School Guidance Center by April 15 at 4 p.m. (If the 15th falls on the weekend, the due date is the following Monday at 4 p.m.) Late applications will not be considered.
June 7, 2023

Philomath Community Foundation scholarships and awards will be announced at the Philomath High School Honors Convocation 6:00 p.m,
December 31

Scholarship Recipient Info Deadline. Recipients must contact PCF and provide information by Dec. 31 See the back of the award certificate for instructions. Without information from recipient, PCF will be unable to distribute scholarship money.
